Nancy Cartwright

Nancy Cartwright is a Professor in philosophy and the history of science, especially physics and economics. Recently her work has focused on how to use scientific research to shape better policy making, including with regard to education, child protection, and international development.

Nancy has worked in many Universities across Britain and beyond, receiving much recognition for her work.
