Labour Councillors Call For Nipper Bus Service

Labour councillors are calling for a nipper bus on the old route of the 3/3a. Northfield Brook City Councillor Trish Elphinstone says “Northfield Brook has lost vital bus links, leaving many residents isolated and making access to shops, services, and public transport much harder.”

Cllr Simon Ottino adds “Older people, disabled residents, vulnerable individuals, and those without a car have been hit hardest. For many, reaching alternative bus stops means walking longer distances or using poorly lit routes that can feel unsafe.”

Imade Edosomwan, Labour County Councillor for the Leys division says “we need to show popular support if we are to get this vital bus service restored. Every signature on out petition helps make the case to the County Council”.
