Imade Edosomwan

Imade has lived in Blackbird Leys for 26 years. As a local resident he has first hand experience of the struggles and issues that the community faces and has always believed that the best way to influence change is to be part of the decision making process. Imade is passionate about children getting the best education and youth service, as shown by his support of a new Youth Hub at Leys Leisure Centre. 

He has also been campaigning for a minibus to serve Greater Leys and for community spaces for local people at the Ozone Leisure Park. Imade is committed to holding the Housing Associations and other landlords to account on repairs and damp and mould. He aims to make the Leys’ streets safer by keeping the street lights on, and pushing for visible community policing.
